WE ARE NOW MORE THAN JUST WEDDING - SHAHHIR SINGLE ALBUM

We are now more than just capturing wedding photos. Yeah...dah jadi fulltime photographer & running own studio...obviously Green Apple need more to explore, expose our skill & obviously more fund to make sure we can always move forward & survive. Terima kasih yg tak terhingga to Abg Roy (AFTERWORK8 SDN. BHD.) coz telah meletakkan 100% kepercayaan utk I & my team player to capture good shots for Shahhir Cover Album.
Eventhough kami tak pernah dapat job2 yg lagi besar2 dr org2 ternama (high ranking VIPs & top celeb & big corporate companies...blom lagik kot!  ) tapi peluang & kepercayaan yg diberikan telah kami gunakan sebaiknya utk menghasilkan yg terbaik. Cakap2 tentang pembikinan shooting ini...dijalankan time dah nak dekat senja...start dalam pukul 5pm. Bertempat di sebuah abandon warehousel...bersebelahan Karangkraf (Shah Alam). Semua art direction telah diperah oleh Abg Roy. Sangat senang bekerjasama dengan beliau. Bole berkongsi pendapat & idea2 dr kami. Walaupun sketch dia dah sediakan...tapi dlm masa yg sama masih bole menerima apa jua idea yg i nak buat...berdasarkan lokasi persekitaran & konsep yg dikehendaki.
Langit biru...masa tu betul2 menaikkan semangat I nak shot. Tapi tulah tak semua arah ada langit yg sebiru itu...jadi mencabar sikit nak cari angle yg berlangit biru. Thanks to all yg bersama2 menjayakan shooting ni. Wait for the photos on the making of the cover album.

Ku Impikan Bintang....Pre Wed Outdoor HAFIDZY&MIZA

Lama tak update.....pagi ni masuk studio nak settlekan banyak lagi job2 yg perlu dihabiskan. Tiba2 teringat kat cerita P.Ramlee, Annakku Sazali, yg baru tengok malam tadi...ada lagu lama2..then terasa macam nak upload gambar Fidzy & Miza yg telah kami rakamkan semasa awal bulan Februari, beberapa minggu sebelum wedding diorang. Konsepnya, Fidzi sendiri yg pilih...dia kata...nak konsep 60-an...so ok...mission fullfilled, i pergi menjelajah ke kawasan shooting bersama assistant baru, Raffi sehari sebelum hari shooting.
Memang seronok shooting outdoor mcm ni. Ditambah lagi dengan couple yg tak kisah di dera masuk kat bendang time becak2 lepas hujan. Time nikah bertembung dengan Saiful Nang (CS) coz sebelah perempuan hired him as their official, sebelah lelaki...hired us, GA Team...it was good to have that 'bertembung' experience..SN memang cekap! InsyaAllah..akan di uploadkan gambar2 wedding mereka jika berkesempatan.

SNEAK PREVIEW..POSING SHOTS WITH SOUL

Hola...lama bebenar i tak masuk or loading any our recent photos collection here. After settle down with own studio office...ingat kan keje tak banyak since focusing only with 1 job, rupa2nya tak menang tangan. Kamilah boss...kamilah kuli. but, full with satisfaction...freedom!
This entry is about POSE shots that been captured by our team, mostly on Nov/Dec 2007. Dalam dok everybody seeking for a 'candid' shots...we still doing both, CANDID & NATURAL POSE SHOTS WITH ART DIRECTION. In candid shots, banyak aspek yg perlu dititikberatkan, walaupun ada yg kata "Ala...tembak aje"...not easy as that, we will apply candid throughout your event. Obviously, we have to have patience + sharp observation + right or perfect composition, just before we press the shutter. Tapi kali ini I nak cakap tentang NATURAL POSE SHOTS.
In GA Team...I always remind our Photographers about 'OUR RECIPE', put their soul during the photo shoot session. If ada gambar yg tak menjadi...i will ask them "Where is your soul?". This is because..there are few things to be consider before we capture most moments between the bride & groom. Dalam memastikan gambar2 posing ni cukup 'JIWA'nya...our photographer have to apply this recipe:
a) Jangan tinggalkan 'JIWA' kat rumah if nak keluar shooting.
b) Otak mesti cepat utk bagi 'ART DIRECTION' kepada pengantin+cari angle+pikir nak guna lighting apa+survey kawasan yg ada 'JIWA' utk shooting.
c) Make sure pengantin/pasangan tu rasa selesa...dengan sesama mereka & dengan photographer.
d) Study karektor pengantin serba sedikit..if gila2 or adventerous...we can try something new...or dera lebih sikit.
e) Tak payah suruh pengantin pose melampau sgt..sikit2 cukup..as natural as they can (ada yg memang pandai pose..kita biar mereka pose..yg kurang arif..we will guide u.
f) Masa edit gambar pun kena ada 'JIWA'

Alhamdulillah...at last...Green Apple officially has our own office studio..(gallery section blom siap lagi). For this past 2 months...Nov-Dec 2007...up till today, my schedule was really tight. Shooting session dah reda sikit...tapi booking utk 2008...alhamdulillah dah ada ramai yg start booking till August 2008.
Talking bout our office studio...yup...we really done it at a lot of cost cutting. Since, we don't have plenty of budget, so we used what eva that we already had from our home. Then...we did a lot of touch up to our furnitures (yg belang2 GOBOK RETRO tu..was with my family since i was not yet born in this world).  Yg lain2..cat sendirik...drill dinding sendirik...Carpet, Wiring & Security Alarm je yg involved pro service.

Entry kali ini...cuma selingan dr kerja2 photography GA. Belek2 folder lama2..terjumpa gambar2 ni. For me...quite interesting eventhough...tak guna DSLR pun...hehe..just for fun...just using iMAC BUILD IN CAMERA when i was still working in Penumbra, select aje efek mana nak guna..tak yah guna photoshop. Bole consider gambar muka2 buruk yg disengajakan. Tulah ingat nak layan LOMO CAMERA pulaklah later....Just for fun!...just a memories...just a simple piece of art. Enjoice!

RANYA ZULAYKHA..when she was born & her cukur jambul

It was a few months back when i shoot this photos. On her very first day came out to this world, i was there in the hospital waited if i could have a chance to capture her for the first time. I was unlucky coz i couldn't see her at that time. But, i've meet up with her Mummy..Mona...which is my good friend since 1995 & the one who responsible of my deep interest in photography. I made up my way the next day & managed to captured her on her early days in this world...her name is Ranya Zulaikha.
For Ranya's Majlis Cukur Jambul...i managed to captured a few shoots & compiled it in the album, special for her, her mummy & daddy. All of the photos had been special edited to be put in the album. So...if you guys wish to have a photos with special editing & full with emotions between u & ur baby...just call us! And let us do the job.

Yabedabedoooo!!!!....We are in Ratu Sehari! Although November was a very tough month for me, at least our advertisement apearence in this magazine, ease my tense. It was all planned for the new year to come...2008.
